Hey Guys!
So I wanted to take the time to post here on our blog about our painting this past Sunday. Most of you know that our episodes of PAINT WITH NICKY are on every Sunday. This week there was not a episode there unfornately because of the camera not working. So this was the planned painting I had decided I would surprise you guys with. I didn't let our not being able to make videos stop me from creating this master art piece. I now see its one of the greatest pieces I've made recently and its all because it wasn't planned. You see the thing is life is all around us and everything we do on a day to day schedule is planned. We wake up, brush our teeths and head off to work or the various appointments we have scheduled for the day. Its how we operate and how the world is runned in a simeountasly organized formula. This happens to be very good if you need to get a list of things done in your day. But can we expect that it is the BEST way to get the MOST out of our lives? I bet not. I live this way unfornately. Its how I thrive and get the best results. But I've found more and more when inconvenices and spontaeous ideas fall on my lap I've created my very best work and also my best performance. I've noticed that life is a creative dance and a outburst of what's in our souls. If its constrictive and held so tightly creative experiences and spiritual aliveness can't seem to happen. We become less than ourselves and eventually the insipration within us dies. Life is not perfect so moments of things you never wanted to happen will. The thing that matters is how do you become even more creative and show up in a world that is ever moving and changing. As artist and creators we need to reveal in our own energies and experiences what art looks like. And I say lets begin with our lives first.
To begin I'll say I first designed this painting with just my fingers in ten minutes. It was actually really fun because I also thought after our video wasn't working I was creating this piece for myself. I didn't think you guys would be viewing it. But now you are and I couldn't be more happier. My sister gave me a bucket of her old paints and half of them were finished and barely had some paint left in them. I always learned especially from my spiritual expeirences that the little you have is able to become larger. Before I ever created videos or had people viewing my art I always worked with little amounts of paint. In my very first video creating "Solar Visual" I had only three small acrylic paints. Now that collection is one of the best I've made and you guys seem to really love it. So I did the same in creating this piece and I felt the movements of the colors. Each color is like a individual person with experiences and ablities. I like to see the colors I paint with like this and somehow like how people are they all connect and blend into eachother in a nice way and depending on the colors you choose. I threw all these colors onto the white canvas paper I had and blended my hands into the surface of each color. I was able to experience and see what went well together and what wasn't able too. Now it is altogether a beautiful movement of colors with art because a soul is now created and you can feel so many things.
